Can You Do Me a FAVOR ?

I've received a few questions and emails regarding favors to hand out at the reception...

Because some are on a strict budget, many couples have found creative and less-expensive ways for their guests to go home with something to remember their special day. Below are some fun and unique ideas and please feel free to share your favorite favor you've received at a reception!

Cookies, chocolate bars or lollipops are a few ideas for yummy treats to hand out to guests. They are easily customizable to have the bride and groom's name and their wedding date and are fun for all ages, rather than a wine cork or something that kids aren't able to enjoy. To the left is an Oreo-layered cake from Jen and Don's Wedding...YUM!

Donations
Some couples have chosen a charity that is special to them where their guests can donate in their name or bring toys, canned food, etc. to send. This idea is good for couples who would rather put money towards a good cause.

Themed Favors

Sending home favors that correspond with the theme of your wedding is also a good idea and will remind your guests of your reception. Some examples are for a winter wedding, put cookies, chocolate, etc. in a box that looks like a Christmas present, or (as seen to the right) a "message in a bottle" for a beach-themed wedding. These favors can also be easily customized with tags of the bride and groom's names and date!
