It's Better to Give Than to Receive?

So I'm sitting here, 6 days before Christmas, pondering what to get for my parents. Mind you, they are in their early 50's, are established, and pretty much have everything. If they don't have it and they want it, they go buy it themselves. So what can I possibly buy for them that they can't go buy themselves? A nice casual shirt for dad (a long running joke between my parents and I)? Perfume for mom? I think I bought her that last year. I don't want to get them something just because so where does that leave me?

Here are a few options I've considered:
1 - Tickets. To a show, a concert, something fun that they can do together.
2 - A certificate for some type of service. Maybe something they wouldn't normally do for themselves. A spa treatment, a personal chef for a week, a night out on the town, an overnight stay somewhere (hmmm they like the casino)?
3 - Someone mentioned a package from Omaha steaks (filets, sirloins, etc.). They still have to cook it, but not a bad idea. Who doesn't like FOOD?
4 - The gift that keeps on giving: an "of-the-month" club (wine, chocolate, fruit, etc.).

I guess when you get to a certain point in your life, material things aren't as important as spending time with your family. Not to mention you could buy any material things you might want yourself. The purpose of a gift is to give something that one would appreciate and likely not buy for himself or herself. So if you find yourself in the same predicament this holiday, keep that in mind.
