Tea Time Wedding - Sarah & Jim

Sarah first called me a few weeks before her wedding. Although she enjoyed planning the majority of her wedding, she had had enough of being the planner and was ready to be the BRIDE! She wanted help tying up the lose ends and definitely wanted a day-of coordinator. I secretly think she only hired me to bring her decorative items from the church to the museum where the reception was going to be on the day of the rehearsal :) But I digress...

Sarah & Jim and I met and they told me all about their New Haven Museum luncheon reception that they had planned after their ceremony at Christ Church. The theme was tea and books, definitely fitting for them, as Sarah is a history professor!

Here I am pinning the anxious groom with his boutonniere!

It's First Look time! Is Jim trying to hide a tear?!

Sarah looked absolutely stunning!

And here comes the bride!

After the ceremony, the bridal party went and took pictures around the Yale section of New Haven. How fun!

The delicious cupcakes that we set up that were made by the Maid of Honor, Meghan.

Here's a great shot of the table settings. The centerpieces were books topped with colorful teapots filled with paper flowers. The table numbers were books as well.

The room all set up. The New Haven Museum is a beautiful venue for an intimate affair. There was no DJ so no need for a dance floor.

Time to cut the yummy cupcakes!

A beautiful shot of the couple by one of the museum exhibits.

You may kiss the bride...in front of the museum.

Thank you to Sarah and Jim for allowing up to be a part of your special day!

And thank you to Tim and Margot Nosenzo of Tim Nosenzo Photography for the gorgeous images!
