How do you know what color scheme to go with? This was a question from one of our followers on Twitter and here's what we have to say!

Use the time of year as a guide. Typically, dark, bold colors work best for fall and winter weddings. Brights or pastels are best for spring and summer.

One of my favorites was this bright pink/lime color combination for a May wedding we worked on.

What's your favorite color? Use it to play into the color scheme of your wedding or event. Mine is pink. Although I didn't use it in my wedding colors, my bridal shower colors were pink and brown.

Do you have a theme? For example, a winter wonderland theme automatically brings to my mind thoughts of icy blue and shimmery silver. Here are some images of a winter wedding we worked on a few years ago (courtesy of Studio 1923).
