I can't even begin to tell you how much it meant to me that you all came to my Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce. It was such a great networking event and in a way made it OFFICIAL that I RUN my OWN business! Such and AMAZING feeling!
Here are some great photos taken by our friends at Lifetiled:
Our little setup outside of the store.
A cool shot of the store pre-party.
Our banner and festive balloons! Pink and purple, who would have thought?
I have to thank Hope Looney, owner of J. Cakes in Northford once again. Her continuous support of CR Socials is beyond anything I could possibly ask for. Her cupcakes are always a huge hit at any event that I have and I just love her!
The food was provided by Sweet Relief Catering in New Haven. It was fabulous and went very quickly! This is a very affordable caterer that I have worked with on a few events already, including weddings. They are very professional and accommodating. Above is the beautiful fruit platter they created.
The delicious assorted wraps. These did not last long at all!
And we all ate our veggies too!
I love these things! They're pear and brie cheese in a filo tart. YUM!
My good friend Graceann showed up with a "Congratulations" balloon and a bamboo plant. She said it meant "good luck" and "money". Well I need both!
Accepting my lovely gift and searching for the perfect place to put it.
The actual "ribbon cutting". On the far left is Robin Wilson, President of the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce. Then we have Jim Augur, Chairman of the Board, me of course, and Cindy Semrau, Vice President of the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce. Thank you for all the Chamber has done for me so far!
My plaque!
Chatting it up with Bernadette Welsh of Contessa Insurance Agency. She was also one of the winners of a custom designed necklace from Lili Lutu.
Renee DeStefano of FloraBella Florist (and my partner in crime) greeting our friend Graceann.
Greeting Mike Novak and Frank Sargolini of Elite Heating & Air Conditioning.
A great shot of the room. Lots of networking going on here!
Thanks so much to Harry Gambardella of H-G Entertainment for providing The Laugh Pod! It was a huge hit and SO much fun!! He also provided the music for our little party. Here is Harry with TV and Radio Host/Personality, Jim Masters.
Here are Dee and Cindy of the QCC having fun with the Laugh Pod.
And my intern Amanda and her boyfriend Scott.
Posing for the camera with my buddy Jim Masters. I have also been featured on his show, The Home Shopper Show on WELI 960.
My buddy Justin Royea from Q-River Land & Lawncare thought my event was missing one thing - champagne. So he went to the package store, which is conveniently located right next door, and bought me a bottle! Justin's wife Agnes was the winner of the other custom designed necklace donated as a raffle prize by Lili Lutu. Justin donated a prize of his own as well - $200 off of any lawncare service.
My friend Bob McKenzie of Juliano Associates had so much fun at the beginning of the party that he came back at 10:00pm and the party was still going. Here is Bob with Jim.
Now this has trouble written all over it! Jim, myself and Renee. Love it. Three of the reasons why the party went until about 11:00pm.
Thank you so much to everyone again. Your continued support means everything to me and I hope to continue to grow CR Socials Event Planning, LLC ever more through the years. I could not have even made it this far without the love and support of my family and friends, and of course my fabulous clients. You all rock!
