What a Wedding Planner Does

I've seen a few of these on Facebook about other professions in the wedding industry, particularly photographers, and thought I should create one for my profession: wedding planning. I think I pretty much hit it on the head...
What society thinks I do...

No, I am not J. Lo in "The Wedding Planner". I will not read the best man his speech through an earpiece, nor do I have million dollar clients.

What my mom thinks I do...

No, I do not go out and party every weekend.

What my clients think I do...

I definitely will NOT be grooming you.

What I think I do...

I like to think I look professional and organized.

What I really do...

Consult with the bride.

Greet the bride upon arrival of ceremony, help her get out of limo and escort into ceremony.

Pin boutonnieres on the groom and groomsmen.

Pin corsages on grandmothers.

Act as an extra pair of hands. Literally.

Help the bride with mishaps (ie: a ripped dress). And so much more!

  1. It is great to share the wedding planners role in the couples wedding planning. All the wedding pictures are shared is wonderful. I have enjoyed by spending time on it. Those who want to plan the wedding by themselves. They may use the wedding planner app and get gain it.
